Notification (1 March 2019)

This is to notify that the pilot test run of Risk Based System, utilizing Building Categorization Matrix (BCM) will be initialized in scrutinizing the building construction application cases in YCDC area, starting June 2019, replacing the current system, with an aim to speed up the building construction permitting procedure for businesses and investors alike, Level of risk will also dictate the requirement of documents, Categorization of risk will give more transparency to the public allowing them to estimate time and cost from the time of submissiom. It also aims at allowing public service providing organization, better access to more accurate data based on risk, regarding the building, for both issuing permits as well as managing the building after constuctio. Online submission system based on internationally recognized ICT technology will follow soon to make the risk based system more effective.
